Trauma Healing for Yourself

Facilitator Training · Explorative Path

Learning to meet your own waves.

Trauma Healing for Yourself is a personal way to learn somatic self-healing, in Bali and online, with Andreas Pasolympia. You learn how emotions and old tension are held in the body, and how to stay with a feeling gently enough that it can be digested in its own time.

Many of us hope someone will heal us once and for all. A session can bring real relief, yet life keeps bringing new waves of feeling. Here the invitation is different: to understand how healing actually works, so you can meet those waves yourself, again and again.

This path is offered for your own healing. It is not a training to treat others.

Who It Is For

This learning is for you if certain feelings keep coming back and you would like to understand them, not just get through them. Maybe your chest tightens before a family phone call. Maybe old sadness rises when life touches a particular spot. Maybe you have had helpful sessions before and now wish to carry something of that care into your own days.

In the language of this page, trauma means experience that has not yet had the chance to be digested. It is still felt in the body and in the way we react today. You do not need to put a label on your experience to begin.

This path is for yourself only. It does not prepare you to work with clients or to guide anyone else through their healing.

02 · The Ground

What Stays Untouched

At InnerPeace we start from basic goodness: every person has a fundamentally good true nature. Wounds and protective patterns can cover it. They do not erase it.

Two things are true together. In the depth of awareness there is something open and free that the hard experience never damaged. And the body and the human heart still carry feelings that ask to be understood. We do not skip over the hurt to reach the openness. We let the openness make room for the hurt.

The ground is universal. The doorway is personal.
03

Learning to Wash Your Own Clothes

It is a little like the difference between having your clothes washed for you and learning to wash your own. Both are a kindness.

A session is like having your clothes washed for you. It helps, and you leave feeling lighter. Learning is like knowing how to wash them yourself: whenever they get dirty again, you know what to do, and you do not have to wait for someone else.

In practice this means that when a strong feeling arrives on an ordinary Tuesday, you have a few simple, gentle things you can actually do. You can notice where it sits in the body, stay with it for a few breaths, and give it the time it needs.

We move at a pace that respects you.
04

What You Learn

There is no fixed curriculum. We begin from what you are living now and shape the learning around it. These are the areas we usually explore.

1

How the Body Holds Feelings

Old experience can leave knots that are felt in the body: tension, an urge to withdraw, difficulty resting. You learn to notice how these show up now, without needing to explain them first.

2

Somatic Awareness

Somatic simply means paying attention to experience as it is felt from inside the body. We might begin with the breath, the feet on the floor, or a place in the body that feels supported.

3

Finding What Steadies You

A resource is anything that helps the body feel safe enough: your back resting against a chair, a place you love, a sound you like. You learn to find yours and return to them when a feeling gets big.

4

Staying with a Feeling

You learn how to stay with a feeling so it can be digested, rather than pushed away or carried for years. Digested here means given enough room and time to soften by itself.

5

Gentleness and Self-Compassion

Self-compassion means treating yourself the way you would treat a good friend who is having a hard time. Parts of us that still carry fear, loneliness, or a need to be seen can be met with that same kindness.

6

Resting in a Wider Awareness

Meditation helps you rest in a deeper awareness that can hold whatever arises. The feeling is still there, and there is also more room around it. It is a little like ice slowly melting into water: it changes because it is given warmth, not because it is forced.

05

Try This Now

Next time a feeling suddenly rises, a tight chest before calling family or regret after snapping at someone, try this. Rest a hand where you feel it most. Name it simply: “this is tight” or “this is hot”. Feel your feet on the floor too. Stay with it for three breaths.

If it feels like too much, open your eyes wide and name three things you can see in the room. That is part of the practice too. Come back to it later, whenever you are ready.

06

How the Learning Works

We begin with a conversation. You share what you are living now and what you would like to understand. You choose what you want to tell. You do not have to go through your whole past, and boundaries, comfort, and pace are agreed together.

  • In Bali: private meetings at your villa or hotel by appointment. Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Renon, and Kerobokan are usual areas. Canggu, Umalas, Sanur, and Jimbaran need further preparation. Share your area so the meeting place and any transportation fee can be confirmed.
  • Online: live sessions by video call. Choose a private setting where you can speak comfortably, and share your time zone.
  • Arrangements: the format, number of meetings, duration, and fee are agreed personally before we begin. There is no fixed price list or package.

If you are also seeing a psychologist, counsellor or doctor, this learning can walk alongside that care, and many people find the two support each other.

07

What May Grow Over Time

Healing is not a quick fix, and it has its own timing, so we do not promise a particular result. What people often notice is quieter and more practical:

  • recognizing a familiar wave earlier, before it carries you away;
  • a few simple steps you can return to on your own, at home or at work;
  • more kindness toward the parts of you that are still protecting themselves;
  • a sense that you can stay with yourself, even on a hard day.

Part of the Explorative Path

Trauma Healing for Yourself belongs to the Explorative Path, where tools and practices such as Reiki, Tarot, and somatic work become doorways for understanding the inner life. Within Facilitator Training it is the one path offered only for your own healing.

If you would rather receive support than learn the process, read about private Trauma Healing sessions in Bali. Meditation from the Direct Path is a natural companion to this learning.
