Andreas Pasolympia

Meditation educator, author, and guide for the inner journey

Andreas teaches meditation as something close to everyday life: a way of knowing the body, understanding the inner world, and reconnecting with a clarity that has always been present.

Every person has a fundamentally good true nature, and a path of their own for recognizing it again.

Andreas’s Journey

Andreas’s interest in the inner world began in childhood, when he was introduced to Reiki and various Eastern healing approaches. In his teenage years, he began studying hypnosis, NLP, communication, and the ways human beings shape their experience. His journey later expanded through coaching, public speaking, personal development, somatic approaches, trauma work, and a wide range of meditative and contemplative traditions.

His academic background in communication helped him understand that human transformation is also shaped by language, relationships, meaning, and the way a person interprets experience. Yet the deeper he studied, the clearer it became that intellectual understanding alone does not always change what is happening within the body. A person may know that they are safe while their body remains tense. They may understand the importance of letting go while a part of them continues to hold on in order to protect them.

Meditation eventually became the axis that brought all of these fields together. Hypnosis and NLP helped him understand the patterns of experience. Somatic approaches taught him to listen to the language of the body. Communication studies helped him translate complex experiences into accessible language. Contemplative traditions introduced him to deeper dimensions of awareness, where experience can be recognized clearly and allowed to find its own balance.

02 · Core Conviction

True Nature and Each Person’s Path

At the heart of Andreas’s work is one foundational conviction: every person has a fundamentally good true nature. Wounds, fear, anger, confusion, and protective patterns may obscure the way a person experiences themselves. Yet within every human being there remains a capacity for awareness, understanding, love, healing, and growth.

Each person has a path of their own. Some naturally enter through silence. Others need conversation and understanding first. Some find their way through the breath, prayer, movement, relationship, tears, creativity, or the life experience they are presently moving through.

For this reason, Andreas seeks to tune in to the person before him. He pays attention to the language they use, the state of their body, the way they process experience, the values they hold, and the doorway that feels most natural to them. Structures and methods remain useful, while a human being is always greater than any method.

How Andreas Teaches

Andreas’s way of teaching is direct, dialogical, and contextual. He invites people to look at what is genuinely happening within their experience. What does it feel like to inhabit the body? Where does tension arise? What happens in the few seconds before a reaction? What is aware of the breath, sensations, feelings, and thoughts?

Meditation can begin with very simple steps. Feeling the feet touch the floor. Noticing the body being supported by a chair. Listening to the sounds nearby. Breathing naturally. Recognizing a thought as a thought. Allowing a few seconds before responding to a message that stirs emotion. Small practices like these help awareness become present within everyday life.

1

Attunement

Andreas first listens to the person, then chooses the language, rhythm, and point of entry that best fits them.

2

Direct Experience

Meditation is brought from the realm of concepts into breath, sensation, emotion, relationship, and the life being lived.

3

Short Moments

The principle of short moments, many times makes awareness easier to recognize repeatedly in the midst of life.

4

Unlocking Potential

When a person feels seen and has room to breathe, energy once needed for survival can return as vitality, love, and creativity.

A few seconds of genuine presence can open new space in the way a person works, speaks, makes decisions, moves through relationships, and rests.
04

The Body, Wounds, and Embodiment

For Andreas, the body has an intelligence that deserves to be heard. The body carries ways of surviving, memories, longings, fears, and possibilities that cannot always be reached through thought. The body therefore becomes an essential part of the journey of awareness.

In his guidance, a person may be invited to recognize their resources, sense an area of the body that feels safe enough, touch a sensation lightly, or move slowly between contraction and ease. The body is given an opportunity to digest experience and catch up with what awareness may already understand.

Spiritual recognition and embodiment move together. The clarity recognized in meditation gradually takes form in the way a person breathes, speaks, sets boundaries, receives love, creates, and participates in life.

Traditions That Shape His Work

Andreas’s practice is deeply rooted in Buddhism, particularly Mahayana, Madhyamaka, Mahamudra, and Dzogchen. His journey has also been enriched by Early Buddhism, Theravada, Zen, the Plum Village tradition, Advaita Vedanta, Taoism, and Christian contemplation. Each tradition is approached through its own language and integrity, while bridges are found through direct experience.

From Early Buddhism, Andreas learned to see experience and suffering clearly. Mahayana brings wisdom together with bodhicitta, the heart oriented toward awakening and the well-being of all beings. Mahamudra and Dzogchen led him toward direct recognition of the nature of awareness. Zen and Plum Village reveal how clarity can be embodied in ordinary life. Somatic approaches, hypnosis, NLP, and coaching help him translate this recognition into a more personal and practical language of human transformation.

InnerPeace Indonesia

Through InnerPeace Indonesia, Andreas shares this approach through meditation classes, personal guidance, private and semi-private learning, retreats, essays, books, and conversations that help people see their experience more clearly. He works with those who are new to meditation as well as those who wish to enter a deeper understanding of awareness, trauma, nonduality, and embodiment.

Andreas helps each person listen to their own life, recognize the path that is genuinely right for them, and unlock the potential that has been waiting to take form. As a person reconnects with their true nature, change becomes a process of growing more fully into who they are.
