A Deep Dive into Spiritual Insights
Tarot Reading in Bali

Tarot reading is an ancient divination practice that taps into the interconnectedness of the human mind, energy, and the universe. Contrary to the common belief that the mind is simply the brain, our consciousness extends beyond physical limitations. The brain acts as a transmitter, an antenna that channels information from a vast repository of collective wisdom, often referred to as the Akashic Records or Alaya Vijnana in Buddhist philosophy.
Tarot is not about rigid fortune-telling or fixed predictions; rather, it is a tool for gaining insight, self-reflection, and guidance. Through symbols, archetypes, and patterns found in the tarot deck, we can explore underlying energies and receive messages that help us navigate life’s journey.
Tarot has its origins in medieval Europe, with some influences tracing back to ancient Egyptian and Kabbalistic traditions.
Tarot evolved into a divination system in the 18th century. The Rider-Waite Tarot deck, developed in the early 20th century, remains one of the most widely used and recognized tarot decks today.
In addition to Rider-Waite, we also incorporate Oracle cards to provide deeper clarification and additional guidance tailored to each individual.
A standard tarot deck consists of 78 cards divided into the Major Arcana and Minor Arcana. The Major Arcana, composed of 22 cards, represents the greater spiritual journey, from The Fool (the beginning of a quest) to The World (the completion of a cycle). This journey mirrors the process of individuation and self-discovery, akin to Joseph Campbell’s concept of the Hero’s Journey.
The Minor Arcana, consisting of 56 cards, represents everyday challenges and experiences. The four suits—Cups (emotions), Swords (thoughts and conflicts), Wands (creativity and ambition), and Pentacles (material aspects and stability)—each symbolize different facets of life.
A tarot reading session involves drawing cards intuitively and interpreting their meanings in relation to the querent’s current energy. Rather than dictating fixed outcomes, tarot highlights potential paths and advises on how to align oneself with the highest possibilities. The process integrates intuition, synchronicity, and deep self-reflection.
